Blogger and custom domain.

Postby BuckBuck on Tue Apr 29, 2008 1:34 pm

Ok so i bough a custom domain for one my blogs. How do i use it? I bought the domain from godaddy. In the blogger help it says that i should make a CNAME with a host to ghs.google.com. I did everything as decripbed. But it is third day and my when i try to access my new domain it is says that is parked free at godaddy and in the tittle it says coming soon. It is normal to take so long? Or i have done something wrong?

I talked to godaddy's support and they gave the right settings for the CNAME records. It is all ok now. Thanks anyway. :)

Glad you got it figured out.... you also could have simply forwarded it, but I don't think you would have had the same benefits, such as the domain showing up in the address bar when people are at your site.

Oh no forwarding is not an option. I want all the visitors to see the custom domain when they visit my site. :D
