I saw this in the first auction:
Budget: $750-1500

This guys are big time schemers. If they are spending that much money on it that means they are planning to earn something real big.

This type of auctions at the freelancing sites should be banned! Has ebay issued any statement yet? They should make some moves this is some serious issue.
Tasty recipes!

They are making a few bucks, 3k-4k a month probably. Ebay doesn't care and most likely they won't do anything so I guess I don't care either. I got the word out there and I got a lot of great backlinks in the process so I'm satisfied ;)

I don't own eBay and cheaters will always be out there. It's eBay job to act on the information provided and all we can do is make them aware of what is going on.

Yes, someone emailed me with that URL as well. I just made a post when at the same time you did but I don't think eBay cares one way or the other. The Pulse was down for a couple days but it's back up now and don't think they will take the time do anything especially when they have much bigger problems.

Josh Kulp was banned from Ebay yesterday so it looks like they are doing something about it now and it's about time! Admin you should try to talk to him again and see what's up.

Looks like you're right but the ban could be for any number of reasons it's probably to early to tell why yet. For instance our eBay account was recently suspended and I thought it was because I posted the "eBay scam" video on the eBay forums.

Turns out eBay just wants us to confirm our address because I guess we had the wrong one down. Our account is about 7 years old so it's possible had the wrong address on our profile still ( I haven't checked yet ).

Code: Select all
Thank you for writing eBay in regards to your eBay account.

I've looked into the situation and see that eBay has temporarily
suspended your eBay account until we're able to verify your contact
information. We'll also need to confirm that your use of eBay services
meets the guidelines of the User Agreement. For more information about
the eBay User Agreement, go to:

http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/user-agreement.html

If you'd like to appeal your suspension, you can begin the process by
faxing a letter of appeal to:

eBay, Attention: B001 Appeals
Fax number: (801) 880-7018

In your letter of appeal, please include the following:

1. A signed statement acknowledging that you've read and understand the
eBay User Agreement.
2. The email address and User ID of the account you're appealing.
3. A copy of the front and back of your driver's license or other
government-issued identification.
4. A recent credit card statement or utility bill that shows your
billing address. (You can black out your account numbers.)

To be honest we don't use eBay anymore so I don't know if I will even take the time to fax them. Anyway this is the reason I say the ban/suspension could be for any number of reasons.

Not sure if Josh reads this but he is more than welcome to post if he would like.

I just found this thread and you guys will be loving it but I believe it is now safe to say that I was the freelancer that created this program in the first place - I didn't know why the man wanted it but I did it all for 500 quid. The language is written in Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC) and compiles as an executable that runs on windows platform. If anyone wants me to send them the source code then just make me a reasonable offer and I may consider it.

Welcome and you are on the money with all your comments so it sounds to me like you really may have created the software. I'm going to have to agree with BuckBuck and ask for some proof as well.

Also if you don't want to say it publicly PM me your eBay ID because I actually know the eBay ID of the person who created the software now.
