Estimated value of domain names?

I have come across couple of tools that do an estimate value of domain names. There is slightly differnce between the results. So i wonder what is the best way to determine the price of a domain name? What are the key factors? Age? Lenght? Backlins?

Age, backlinks , traffic those are important in establishing the value of a domain. I have seen many tools like that but almost none of them are accurate. I submitted 1 newly bought url that had no backlinks nothing and some tools said its worth 50$ so ...

I get the point. Some guys say that the lenght and the meaning of the domain add big value to the domain.

Any type of online tool to guess the value of a domain name is pretty useless. It all comes down to supply and demand. If a lot of people want the domain then you could sell it more... if no one wants to buy your domain, you may not even be able to get the $7 that you paid for it.
