Favorite Hosting?

Postby LinkBuildingBible on Mon Apr 14, 2008 4:52 pm

What hosting do you guys use? What is your favorite host?

I use ANHosting, which is a sub section of MidPhase.... They have fantastic customer service, almost 24/7 live customer service (sometimes, you directs your message to email, and they respond within 2 hours, which is usually on the weekends in the middle of the night... They have fairly decent prices for their smallest services, and they shared hosting is good. Whenever I have had issues, they have worked them out fairly quickly.

I'm going to have to day Hostgator for a couple reasons. First customer support is generally very quick to respond plus the 'live' support is nice to have. Second it's cheap and you get a decent amount of extras with the shared packages. Lastly their affiliate program is awesome and makes me lot's of money :D

I might have to have a look at that!

I've got a reseller package in the UK for $200 per year that can host 10 domains as standard and the first .co.uk domain was free.

How does that compare with other prices? is it expensive?

Really? Do that many people still buy hosting consistently, or are you actively promoting the affiliate program for Host Gator?

Have you found any good sites for hosting a proxy? I'd be interested in learning how to setup and promote a proxy.... even if I can make justa little bit, and I keep creating proxies, each one can earn me a little bit to add to the whole.

some are making 5$/day from 1 proxy site so i dont think it's useless.
You can monetize the proxy sites with adsense.
