I like to go to freewordpressthemes.com. Nice choices, most I see suit my taste and I like the blue theme they are using. You can even login and manage your themes, not that I do that

Is there a place that has a list of things that need to be edited for making a theme SEO friendly?

I read some basic stuff on courtneytuttle.com but i probably am missing stuff.

Any help would be great as this is an interest I have.

SEO friendly means that a them has an atomated intuitive SEO corrections to make the theme rank better in search engine and styled to easily add contextual Google ads.

Hmm i always use http://www.wpthemesfree.com/ when choosing a theme or a blog. They have some cool themes

I mentioned courtneytuttle.com above..... His site has tons of SEO friendly wordpress themes.... this can really help, because in many themes, the creators embed hidden links to your site, which takes away from the link juice that your site can get from GOogle.

Well removing this type of links is pretty easy. It takes just basic HTML knowledge. I have edited all my blogger templates they all contained hidden links. One of them even had kontera ads on it. It all comes down to removing couple of lines of the template XML code. I am pretty sure the same goes for WP themes.
