Google next pr update

I have been waiting for long for my pr to update does anybody the next scheduled PageRank update is?

It just so happens that your timing is perfect, check out this post http://www.gurucreation.com/2008/04/pag ... -here.html. Also there is no "set" date for PageRank updates - they are random and unpredictable.

I really hoped that it will be pushed back a little bit. I just bought an expired domain with PR4 and now it back to 0 after the update. Damit.

I wouldn't put to much stock in PageRank just focus on traffic. I would trade 10k uniques per day for PR7 any day of the week if you can convert it.

I think it depends on what you are using your site for, PR for a blog seems more important to me than for a forum or other web site.

BuckBuck just pointed out that a page I set up in Dec/Jan has just got PR 1, no SEO at all, it might have 10 backlinks if it slucky.

My other site which has been set up for longer and has almost 10,000 backlinks has no PR at all.

Not only we can buy backlink. We also can do backlink for free. Just always make comment at many high pagerank blog and submit many article to highpagerank article submission. You also can use digg or others social bookmarking to get more backlink.

Well getting free high quality links is very hard. One link to be valuable to your site has to be in your ninche. Finding a blog in your ninche is not that easy. Commenting on people's blog is a good way to gain some backlinks. The problem is that very little of the blogs allow dofollow link. They are so hard to find but are extremely valuable. A no-follow link is simply usless to your SEO. But generally this technique is good for brand new sites.
