Help A Newbie Make Money Online
For someone that is completely new to Internet marketing where would you suggest they start? Let's say they have a budget of around three thousand dollars to learn with.
Re: Help A Newbie Make Money Online
I would suggest starting a website in a niche that you have knowledge about or are very interested in. Do some research to see how competitive the area is before you waste all your start up money though. For instance don't choose online poker because it is too competitive for someone just getting started but you might choose another hobby or something related to the area you live in or the field that you work in.
Buy a domain name and get some cheap hosting or look around for a 'turnkey' site that is ready to be marketed. Once you've got your site up and running I would recommend not spending any of your budget for 1-2 months. Try and see what kind of traffic you can build for free through blogging, search engine submission, link exchanges and forum posts. Once you get to know the business a little them spend some money on marketing. Re: Help A Newbie Make Money Online
Goodgames that was an excellent response and I couldn't have said it better myself.
Try to learn as much as you can before you throw any money into a project. The goal is to make money and you want to see a return on your investment. Be sure of yourself once you take that step and make sure you have a plan of attack ready. http://www.eSEOservices.com
Re: Help A Newbie Make Money Online
Yah, these two have touched on it... Learn the ins and outs of internet marketing, and find out what you should really be spending money on and what you shouldn't...
You'll find ways to eat up that $3000 really quick if you aren't careful... people will be doing whatever they can to relieve you of that money. if it has a sales page that takes forever to scroll through, uses a lot of red text and yellow highlighted text, and testimonials, it's probably not the best to spend money on.
Re: Help A Newbie Make Money Online
A budget of $3k is really good!
But if you want to learn about Internet marketing, you might save all the money as there are some really good free sources of quality information. Try to search Google about Internet marketing, browse through different forums, try to learn as much as you can and don't invest the money without being 100% sure about something.

Re: Help A Newbie Make Money Online
I'm a newbie too and I have found out 2 things.
1. It's a little overwhelming with all the possibilities out there and 2. I really think Sharebux.org and MoreEgold are easy to use. They really help too. They both are free, but you could always use your money to promote and upgrade everything. It really comes down to advertising with the internet I've noticed. There are a ton of people all competing, so you have to look like the best. Good luck to you!!!
Re: Help A Newbie Make Money Online
A budget to learn with. Thats pretty impressive.
I would suggest read the forums/blogs that are free (all of them are free to read). Maybe checkout Digital Point forums. You could also set up a free blog on blogger (blogger.com). This will help you get to grips with how blogs work etc before spending any cash on your own domain.

Re: Help A Newbie Make Money Online
There first thing to do is to choose your niche. Do it very carefully. Id recomment to choose a niche you have some knowledge about. The money you have are way too much. 1k$ will do the work. You can buy domain and hosting, logo, template for you site and some decent SEO service(if you are not familiar with it).
Good luck.
