How long does to to be approved for DMOZ?

Postby BuckBuck on Sun May 11, 2008 11:12 pm

Recently i submited my cooking blog in the directory. I am wondering how long does it take to have your site approved? Is there any chance to reject my submission.
Tasty recipes!

There is chance that your website might never get approved in DMOZ looking at their current situation. I have submitted my sites to DMOZ and none of them got rejected as i never received an e-mail saying site got rejected but it never got approved too.

I have now stopped submitting websites to DMOZ. Earlier i used to read all their terms and conditions and waste hours so that my website is according to their terms but no use so i just gave up.

It takes just couple of moments to fill out the form. It is not that time consuming process in my opinion. If you have adult sites then you are in trouble. I have spoken to people who got their sites approved in 40 minutes. But it is two weeks and i still have not founds mine in the listing.
Tasty recipes!
