You need not be a native English speaker to earn money from your English language expertise. If you have a good command of the language, that means a good grasp of grammar plus the neutral American accent, then you have a business!

South Koreans are crazy about learning English (there may be other nationalities). By simply having a stable Internet connection, you can teach English online using Skype, MSN or YM. You can advertise your service on free online classified ads to get clients. Some students are very choosy when it comes to English instructors. If you sound well on the phone, you will most likely get the job. If the student wants a webcam class and you are confident that you look damn pretty, go for it!

If you find it hard to find clients, you can search for companies looking for English teachers willing to work at home. What’s they’ll ask you to do is have a writing test and a phone interview commonly done using Skype. Once you passed then they are going to assign students for you to teach on your free time.
