OnSite vs OffSite

Postby CPhil on Mon Apr 28, 2008 5:50 pm

So a lot is made about SEO and the On Site and Off Site optimization you carry out. Once you have completed your page, made sure your keywords appear in your title tag and your h1/2 tags and maybe checked your keyword density, is there anything else on site that you carry out? Do you ever come back and keep refreshing the content or altering the On Site aspects or do you just leave it and concentrate on the Off Site optimisation.

Onsite SEO is something they should be taken very seriously. It is not very hard and it doesnt take a lot of time but it is very important. I have read the 80:20 rule that says that 20% of the SEO should be done onsite the rest is offsite (link building). If you have done title, meta tags properly i think it is enough.

The rest is up to what you to do off site.
Tasty recipes!

Onsite SEO is as important as Offsite SEO. If your content, tags. title is not properly done then it will effect your ranking. I have a website that is PR2 within a year with 0 link building and is on top 20 for its keywords. Though it gets ok amount of its daily.
