Keep in mind that the Boston Celtics were playing in the NBA Finals at this time. Millions of people were searching for more information about the Celtics, and it showed in my blog stats.

How can you emulate this on your own site? Position yourself well for high-volume topics. Choose timely topics that attract interest from tens -- or even hundreds -- of million people. When there are 50 million searches for a specific topic, you don't even have to be on the front page of results to draw thousands of visitors to your site.
