The main key to making money online through blogging is to write consistently. If you want to build a successful blog, you should be posting new content every couple days, at least. While posting frequently isn't too difficult for the first couple week, it's easy to lose motivation over time.
How do you keep the content on your blog fresh and exciting? There are several different approaches that can keep visitors coming back to your blog.
Contact several writers who write for similar blogs in your niche. Most bloggers would be thrilled to get a free backlink and traffic back to their site. A weekly guest post is a great way to provide your readers with an alternative perspective while giving you a chance to take a break from writing. You could also consider asking one of your top commentors to write a post for you.
Depending on your niche, you may be able to find some reprint articles available. While the content may not be original, there are thousands of articles available. With the large volume of articles being written every day, there's a high chance that your readers won't have read the article before. Keep in mind that you are typically required to post a link back to the author at the bottom of your post.
If you're not interested in turning the content over to somebody else, you can still have daily posts without writing every day. The concept is called "batching," where you write several days of posts in advance. Spend a few hours of one morning cramming out the writing, and you've got a week of posts finished!
Hopefully you are fairly passionate about the topic you blog about. If not, many of the options above can help. Stick with it, that's how the best blogs rise to the top.
