Have you been paying someone to create and build your website? You excel at all other aspects of business and marketing but have never taken the time to learn HTML code? Well I was in just this position. I had paid someone to do my website and when something went wrong they were no where to be found and a was left, on my own, with a faulty website! I had no idea what to do. That is when I found the eBook "7 Minute Websites" by Erik Stafford.
"7 minute Websites" is a 64 page ebook designed to explain, step by step, in easy to understand conversational English, how to create your own website so you never have to rely on any one for that again. It starts with the basics on creating your domain name and web hosting.
Once you've chosen a host and gotten your content together, "7 Minute Websites" takes you a bit further with chapters on "DNS" and "FTP" or file transfer protocol (transferring files on the internet). This is when you learn to transfer your existing content on to your new website.
If you're not starting out as basic as all that, you will benefit from the next sections. These were the most useful for me. They are instruction in basic and intermediate HTML code. As soon as I got through these sections I was able to fix the problems with my website and had it up and running again in no time!
Erik Staffords "7 Minute Websites" helped me take control of my own website, perhaps it can do the same for you.
