4 Ways To Increase Traffic To Your Website Today

If you haven't realized it already, the key component of building a profitable, online business is the need to drive traffic to your website.

Selecting the correct affiliate product, creating a niche product based on lots of market research is fantastic, but if no-one visits your site then no-one is going to click on your paypal button or affiliate link and you won't make any money.

Today I wanted to give just a few ways in which it is possible to drive traffic to your website quickly. These methods can bring visitors to your site in as little as 48 hours from now.

1. Article Marketing - By far the most common way of driving traffic, basically this requires you to write several articles centered around the keywords people use to search for your product/service. A little keyword research is necessary here - there are many tools available for the job - my recommendation is the free version of wordtracker.

Once you have written the articles, submit them to popular article directories such as Ezine Articles. Make sure you include a call to action in your resource box at the end of the article and provide a link back to your website. Once your article is approved (usually within a few days), you can expect to receive traffic very quickly.

2. Giveaways - This method is great for building a list and dramatically increasing the traffic to your site. Basically, produce a free report (you can write this, outsource or use PLR material), submit this to the giveaway and wait for the traffic to arrive. Obviously it is important that the report provides quality information in your niche. Do this and you will quickly develop a reputation as an authority in your chosen area.

3. Create a Squidoo Lens or Hubpage - These web 2.0 sites allow you to publish original, quality content related to your niche and link back to your site. The great thing about this, is that Google loves such sites and so your pages can quickly rank high in the search engines.

4. Yahoo Answers - Visit this site and identify questions that are posted there that relate to your niche. Answer the questions with quality information and leave a link back to your site. This builds backlinks and brings targeted traffic to your site very quickly.

Anyway, these are just a few basic methods that I wanted to share. Hopefully someone will get some benefit from them.

Very nice article Paul. It is very inspiring. When people are fed with regular ways of brining traffic they always can rely on something like this.

You can use another Yahoo feature to bring fresh traffic to your site. Yahoo groups is very good for attracting new visitors. You have to write some articles in order to catch people attention but once established it is very easy.

paul those are very nice ways of bringing traffic to your website. I have not used squidoo much but Giveaways and Yahoo answers are good ways to get traffic. Have used yahoo answers before.
