I use Notepad and NoteTab Light... though they aren't technically "HTML editors" they work for easily editing HTML... but, it obviously requires a knowledge and HTML, whereas a point and click HTML editor you can just click the bold button and you have bold text.

Google "notepad++" it's not techniquely a HTML editor but it's an awesome free tool that I use for editing.

I use notepad most of the time but have also noticed that notpad 2 has some great features for a free program.
Has anyone used coffeecup?

I have tried coffecup as well as many other HTML editors but I have to admit my favorite is Araneae, which allows mult-tab edition and has search and replace capabilities across all the open documents.

I'm using the previous version of this freeware because of its simplicity, but new user may appreciate the addons to the newest version available at http://www.araneae.com

I heard of araneae for the first time a few days ago. I think I will go and check that out but don't think I'm willing to pay for a few advantages when I already have free programs that do the job for me. Yes - I'm tight! lol

One month ago a friend of mine asked me to review her site. She was having difficulties displaying her site in firefox. She had made it in front page. The package she sent was 180mg!! Bloody 180mg for a 25 page site. Everything in HTML!

First - many sites created in front page simply freeze in Firefox
Second - Front page only allows .wav and .wma media file type. Which are not the best for websites.
Tasty recipes!
