Will Google always be No. 1?

Do you think the recent attempt my MySearchFunds and similar attempts by other search engines to take the business away from Google will affect Google in a big way? I am not really sure as Google has a big market but such attempts cannot be overlooked. What do you think?

Well Google is dominating right now just like Netscape when they first hit the seen. Then Microsoft came out of no where and crushed them. There is always the chance that another engine could come along but it really needs to have a strong finical backing and business strategy.

I do not think they will always be No.1 . The world is ever changing and there are too many things that will effect a business. There is a danger of being too big, like they say - the bigger you are the harder you fall. When it comes down,it will come down hard.

Yah, I think we'll be in Google land for another 10 years or so..... I don't see them being de-throned anytime soon. But you never know. But just like many ebay clone attempts popped up, even with ebays unpopular policies and fees, they have yet to be de-throned...

Google remain the best trasted searchebging in the next 10 or more years. Any competetor who want to challange the algo of This giant search engine will fail due to the maimum efficency of Googel. I thank MySearchFunds will not make any difference in the google's popularity.

My opinion is that there alot of people coming out with new search engines but nobody is ever going to catch up with google there to well known.

My openion is that google will remain on the top and there will be no one who could beat it .Many search engine are there but no one cna catch up google till another 5-6 years !!

Wait a minute. How much people do you think take advantage of the paid searching? How many people will isntall this toolbar to their computers? Mysearchfunds, as far as i know, is using google's search result. Are they a search engine at all? In my opinion this is just one of the programs that will die in just couple of months.

Time will tell there are lots of potential good search engines. I like the new concept of the image preview search egine..i can not recall the name right now. Everything takes a lot of time to develop. Everything depends on the egineers how creative are they and how hard they will work.

I dont know why everyone is saying Google will be on top or is on Top. I was reading an article 2 - 3 days ago in which Yahoo received 140.6 billion visitors and google 141 billion visitors and MSN lacking behind with 121 billion. It stated that google took over yahoo traffic and blah blah.

now how can we say google will always be no.1. I still dont think they are number one even if they are receiving more traffic
